The start
China has had many complications in becoming the country they are today. The communist's and the nationalist's fought to rule the country starting in 1927. Mao Zedong led the Chinese Communist party, and Chiang Kai-shek led the Nationalist party in a civil war in China. At first though, the two parties were in an alliance, but it was broken when the former Nationalist leader, Sun Yat Sen, died and Chiang Kai-shek took over. Kai-shek hated the communist and broke the alliance and went behind the Communists back. After this first feud they had an occurrence of evolutionary events such as, the Long March, the Shanghai Massacre, and the Great Leap Forward, that changed the history.
